Biography
Arunansu Pattanayak was born in 1977 in Puri, Orissa, India. He is currently pursuing his M.S. in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the Universtiy of Cincinnati. He received his B.Tech in Engineering Physics, from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India, in May 1999. During this time he was recipient of National Talent Search Scholarship, from government of India. He was also recipient of Junior Merit Scholarship from Educational Board of Orissa.

Research Interest
His research interests include photonic VLSI, smart-pixel devices and systems, optoelectronic system development, internet technology and software engineering. He is currently working on a simulation software for a 32x32 optoelectronic database filter chip.
