Another method, calculateGVT is called automatically when a LGVTMsg or LowerLGVTMsg is received from the LP that was furthest behind last time GVT was calculated. If there were multiple LPs at the same time which determined GVT, then one is chosen arbitrarily as being the furthest behind.
