- Student Trainee, AFRL, Propulsion Directorate, Power Division (4 quarters): Verified turbine engine model through simulation, Performed modeling and simulation of high altitude airships, Helped disperse works amongst other co-ops.
- Research Assistant, Universal Energy System (1 quarter): Modeled and simulated the Global Hawk Airship, Published papers within the Air Force Base about Global Hawk and its capabilities.
skills/expertise areas
- Extensive experience with creation and operation of turbine engines.
- Experience with multiple operating systems including Linux, UNIX, and Windows.
- Proficient in MATLAB, Mathematica, Simplorer, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, Windows 2000.
areas of interest
- Interested in modeling techniques with any type of simulation not just limited to electrical systems, but also in thermal and mechanical systems.
- Interested in working with the hardware for various circuits.
type of project sought
- Would like to work with a combination of both modeling and simulation of an electrical system.
- Would like to work with the new dSpace hardware at the Air Force Base, trying to figure out its capabilities compared to a turbine engine model.
