co-op or other experience and responsibilities

  • UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AT BERKELEY(1 quarters): Researched the use of pseudorandom strings to approximate the satisfying assignments to a depth-two (read-once) conjuntive normal form (CNF) formula. Designed a randomized algorithm (by sampling from the pseudorandom space, inputs to the formula) that is polynomial in time for determining if pseudorandom strings satisfy the CNF formula. Theoretical (mathematics), data analysis, and programming skills, and R- package tools were used in completing the project

  • CINERGY (Cincinnati Gas and Electric) (2 quarters): Troubleshooted hardware and software problems for the Clients’ personal computer running Windows2000. Developed online survey and database applications using VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML programming languages

  • GEAE (General Electric Aircraft Engines) (2 quarters): Troubleshooted hardware and software problems for computers running Windows and UNIX operating systems. Configured and deployed Terminal Concentrators (TC) for remote access to the onsite servers and database machine (at company’s data centers)
