Course Information
Description: This course is designed as an
introduction to issues in computational sciences and the use of
parallel computers. The course is a distance learning offering held
in cooperation with Ohio State University and the Ohio Supercomputer
Center. Projects will involve use of the Ohio Supercomputer Center
machines and/or the new Beowulf Cluster Computer in the UC-LINC
Laboratory in Rhodes 890. Students should have some familiarity with
MPI programming. The tutorials pointed to below should be sufficient
preparation.
